Tibco General Interface, yeah, i now don’t look for another solutions. I was next to wrote own framework, but I found framework for Rich Internet Applications (RIA), and it is event driven framework, could be connected to any service I want. It has Service Orienteted Architecture (SOA) . I’ts on BSD licence, and all framowork is in Ajax, IMHO it’s on itself. It’s for Enterprice class internet application. Could be integrated with any server solutions - NET,Java, PHP. TIBCO not only wins in the recent 2007 InfoWorld Bossie Awards, it’s also wins my time.

CodeIgniter Application Framework

CodeIgniter work with PHP4. I look for application framework and choose this framework for some tests. It’s fast and small, and work with PHP4 is a advantage. For example Prado work only with PHP5. Most hosting accounts has PHP4. I’ve picture of my ajax application. I need event driven framework, and i need automate applications development. For example if I create html form, and load page with this form and press submit, even if database table not exist, it automaticly create this table. I need database oprtation log, so if I need, with this log i can recover database to any time I want. Engine based on Ajax, automaticly update interface, no mater how much users use application. All has to work in real time. So if CodeIgniter don’t meet my needs, I write own framework. Maybe I’ll discover wheel once again, but it would be my wheel.

Delphi for PHP 2.0

Delphi for PHP 2.0 wad created by Codegerar, you can purchase it at http://www.codegear.com/products/delphi/php, to end of July 2008 it’s for 153 Euro. I thought that I’ve find my favorite Ajax framework - Qooxdoo, but now I think about Delphi for PHP 2.0. Internally it has gooxdoo based components, and Delphi alway has nice visual enviroment. You can alway build forms with only dragging visual components to form canvas. You can always easy set any property. You can build own components. I read that this delphi has integrated debugger for php. So I now confused what choose for my project. Now I download qwt (Qooxdoo Widget Toolkit) http://qooxdoo-contrib.sourceforge.net/downloads/qwt/releases/qwt-0.2.0.zip so I goong now to test it, if it will be suitable for my purpouses i choose it, else I purchase Delphi for php 2.0 or maybe i find another solution. I let you know what I choose on this blog.

Do I need Qooxdoo?

For my new project i look for a good AJAX framework. Dojo don’t meets my requrments (forms look nice, but in complex forms you can see loading of dojo forms template). So I look for another solutions. On demo page you’ll see some capabilities of this framework. I download it an do some tests now. I need fast framework, i have hope that Qooxdoo is what I need.

Developers of this framework was exhibitors on AJAXWorld Conference & Expo 2008 East at New York, so this framework take my attention.

If you are a internet programmer best tool for you is Firefox.

. Firefox is not simple browser, it has powerfull addons addons.mozilla.org/en-Us/firefox. I personaly use X-Ray (for display website layout), ColorZilla for color probe of website element, Web Developer (for css view, div or table layout, display form details), Html Validator (to check page validation). There are much more addons, please check. Evrybody can find something useful. You also can contribute addons for firefox, this is simple compressed javascript, in jar format. You can dissassemble evry addon with probably any zip(jar) decompresor. Tell us abut your's favorite plugins.

I use this toolkit for handling forms. Nice tooltip, calendar picker and ajax integration.

Making forms takes time. Dojo can help but it’s also takes time. If anybody know how to speed up making forms please share ideas in this article comments.
